
The Present IESO Incentives Won’t Be Around for Long—Act Soon!

The current IESO incentives available for all Ontarians purchasing a heating and cooling system are set to expire on June 30th, 2017. These changes allow homeowners only a limited time to take advantage of the available savings.
The present IESO incentives allow consumers to receive one of the following air conditioner incentives:
Either a $250 incentive – with the purchase and installation of a new certified ENERGY STAR Central Air Conditioning (CAC) system with a 14.5 SEER* rating and 12 EER* rating.
OR
A $400 incentive – with the purchase and installation of an ENERGY STAR certified CAC system with a 15 SEER* rating and 12.5 EER* rating.
Save on Energy states that in order to redeem these savings:
- The eligible equipment must be installed by a participating contractor by June 30th, 2017.
- The incentive must be entered online by July 8th, 2017.
- Your proof of purchase must be submitted by August 1st, 2017.
*AS OF JUNE 30TH, AIR CONDITIONERS UNDER 18 SEER WILL NO LONGER BE ELIGIBLE*
